William Michael McCormack is a historian, speaker and writer based in northern Georgia. An ordained Southern Baptist minister, he holds a master’s degree from Louisiana Baptist University and Theological Seminary and post-graduate certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution from the University of North Texas. His undergraduate degree was earned at Louisiana State University. In between educational pursuits, he was honored to serve in the United States Marine Corps, where he became an officer in the communications field.
Michael spent over a decade with the Southern Baptist International Mission Board, traveling to over seventy countries aiding missionaries in their work for Christ.
In the mid-2000s, Michael worked with Chuck Colson’s Prison Fellowship, leading programs and the Bible study ministry for the State of Colorado’s Christian prison population.
In 2012, he accepted an offer by the Navigators to become Program Director for Glen Eyrie Christian Conference Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. During his years there, Michael supervised many discipleship gatherings, as well as teaching Bible and marriage seminars.
Michael is also the author of Killing the Bible: The Historic Characters Who Tried and The King Still Has One More Move: American Exceptionalism and Destiny in God’s Plan. His teaching series, The Light of Truth, Dawn of the New Testament, is a compelling study that reveals the proof-texts of first century Bible documentation.
He and his wife, CJ McCormack, felt led by the Lord to relocate to Georgia in 2020. CJ is a retired healthcare executive who is passionate about missions and loves to serve. She currently volunteers year-round with Samaritan’s Purse-Operation Christmas Child and another local ministry.
