"O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up.
You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways." Psalm 139:1-3.
O Father Merciful and Gracious, You are the one who knows everything that there is to know about us.
You know when we feel close to You and when we are far away. You know our every thought.
We pray today for those who are at war with themselves. The mind battles can be very devastating and the search for peace very elusive.
Help those who have lost respect for themselves to regain their identity in Christ. Then, they can be whole again.
When a Christian has broken fellowship with You, there can be no other answer than repentance to restore communion.
May our thoughts today be so positive that mental and physical health can result.
Bless this person who bows before you just now with mental balance and perspective in Christ. Amen.
"The reason why we obtain no more in prayer is because we expect no more. God usually answers us according to our own hearts. – Richard Alleine
